‘Go Get ‘Em Roy!’: It’s Official – Trump Formally Endorses Roy Moore After Calling Him From Air Force One
US President Discards Pretense of Distancing White House From Accused Child Molester, Fully Embraces Republican Party’s Candidate for Senate
President Donald Trump has now formally and officially endorsed accused child molester and accused sexual abuser Roy Moore to become the next U.S. Senator from Alabama. NCRM was among the first to publish a report that the President called Moore Monday to offer his full support.
“Go get ’em, Roy!†Trump told the Alabama Republican from aboard Air Force One, according to The Guardian.
“The President had a positive call with Judge Roy Moore during which they discussed the state of the Alabama Senate race and the President endorsed Judge Moore’s campaign,” White House spokesperson Raj Shah said in a statement to reporters Monday afternoon.
Trump earlier Monday posted a series of tweets supporting Moore, saying Republicans needed him in the Senate to fight Democrats.Â
“I am honored to receive the support and endorsement of President Donald Trump,” Moore said in a statement, as reported by The Hill. “President Trump knows that the future of his conservative agenda in Congress hinges on this election. I look forward to fighting alongside the President to strengthen our military, secure our border, protect our gun rights, defend the sanctity of life, and confirm conservative judges to courts around this nation.”
“We had a good conversation over the phone today and are working together towards conservative victory on December 12,†Moore’s statement adds.
Kayla Moore late Monday morning posted to Facebook, “Judge Moore just got off the phone with President Trump-we have his full support! Thank you Mr. President! Let’s MAGA!,” she wrote.
