Watch: On First Day of Jury Duty Obama Walks Around Room to Say Hello and Shake Everyone’s Hand

‘Good to See You. How You All Doing?’

Former President Barack Obama Wednesday morning reported for jury duty in Chicago, where he maintains a home. One potential juror posted a video of the former president arriving in the jury pool room. Obama, apparently flanked by his Secret Service detail, entered, said “Hello, fellow citizens,” and “Thank you for your service,” as he walked through the room.

“How’s everybody doing?” he asked, as he shook hands with nearly every person he walked past.

“How you doing?” Obama said as he greeted his fellow Chicagoans. “Good to see you. How you all doing?”

The former president, donning a suit but no tie, literally walked around the entire room so he could greet everyone, shake their hands, and say hello.
