Watch: Trump Supporter Says He’d Believe Trump Over Jesus
“If Jesus Christ gets down off the cross and told me Trump is with Russia, I would tell him, ‘Hold on a second. I need to check with the president if it’s true.’â€
A small business owner and fervent Trump supporter says he’d believe the president over Jesus Christ.
Mark Lee told CNN’s “New Day” Monday morning that he believes Donald Trump stands for the “small guy,” and is “a good man.” He defended Trump having the richest cabinet and most billionaires in his cabinet in history by saying capitalism and making money are good, and Trump’s cabinet is not the swamp because they’re “not politicians.”
“In a capitalist system, you’re allowed to make money,†Lee explained. “Being rich is good.â€

“If Jesus Christ gets down off the cross and told me Trump is with Russia, I would tell him, ‘Hold on a second. I need to check with the president if it’s true,’†Lee, who sat on a panel of six Trump supporters, said.
Trump is “there for people like myself,” says Lee. He also notes when Trump goes to his Florida resort, Lee stands outside of Mar-a-Lago with his “Blacks for Trump” sign.
