Trump Goes on Unhinged Tweetstorm Attacking Kim Jong-Un and ‘Haters and Fools’ Freaking Out Over His ‘Chemistry’ With Putin

‘Apparently I Grabbed the LSD’ a Naval War College Professor Responds

President Donald Trump has been relatively restrained during his 12-day Asia trip, at least given his usual insane behavior, but Saturday evening that changed dramatically. The American president unleashed an embarrassing, juvenile, unhinged tweetstorm attacking North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un and while defending his attempts to be BFFs with Russian president Vladimir Putin, and of course attacking “Crooked Hillary Clinton” for good measure.

U.S. Army Gen. Barry McCaffrey (ret.) on Friday “said he now estimates the chances of conflict with North Korea to be around 51 percent before next summer,” NBC News reported, adding that he “called Trump’s influence on the process ‘destructive.'”

That was Friday.

On Saturday, Trump posted what just might be some of the craziest tweets he’s ever written, which is saying a lot. You can thank Twitter’s decision to double the maximum character count to 280 for the bonus exponential lunacy.

Trump appears to be responding to Kim Jong-un’s attack on him earlier this week, when the North Korean leader called Trump a “lunatic old man.” It’s not the first time. Nearly two months ago the dictator called the president a “dotard,” or old man.

It’s unclear why Trump thinks he will ever be friends with the 30-something despot.

Trump also defended his attempts to be best friends with Vladimir Putin, after many across America Saturday were stunned and angered Trump announced that he believes the Russian president who once again told him the Russian government did not interfere in the U.S. election. Today happens to be Veterans’ Day, making the near-treasonous acquiescence to a foreign enemy power all the worse.

And finally, Trump appeared to brag about his “chemistry” with Putin while attacking his three favorite targets: the media, Hillary Clinton, and Barack Obama.

After this olympic-sized insanity, the internet exploded. Some people on Twitter were amused and engaged in mockery of the president, while others were freaking out, scared, angry, and wondering if Trump’s juvenile jabs would hasten nuclear war.

One Naval War College professor of international relations and national security posted this tweet, seemingly summing up just how psychedelically insane Trump’s tweets are:
