Sarah Sanders: Trump Retweeted Neo-Fascist Leader’s Anti-Muslim Hate Videos ‘To Promote Strong Border Security’

White House: It Doesn’t Matter President Is Promoting Fake News

The White House is responding to international outrage brewing over President Donald Trump’s Wednesday morning retweeting of extremist anti-Muslim videos originally posted by Jayda Fransen, the acting head Britain First.

Britain First is a far-right, neo-Fascist, Christian fundamentalist, ultranationalist British anti-Islam extremist organization.

Trump retweeted three videos, including one in which a Muslim man is seen throwing a man off a rooftop. Another purportedly shows a Muslim destroying a statue of the Virgin Mary. And a third purportedly shows a “Muslim migrant” beating up a man on crutches.

The first video is of an incident several years ago. The assailant was arrested, tried, convicted, and executed, according to the Daily Mirror. The third video has been proven to be neither of a Muslim or a migrant. In other words, the president is retweeting intentionally fake news.

Trump and his press secretary regularly attack the mainstream media as “fake news,” while the president promotes actual fake news.

On Wednesday, the press secretary decided even that doesn’t matter.

“Whether it’s a real video, the threat is real,” Sarah Huckabee Sanders told reporters. “His goal is to promote strong border security and strong national security.”

To be clear, the White House is now again saying the “threat” to America, both from outside our borders and within our borders, is of Muslims, and Muslims attacking Christianity.
