WATCH: Multiple ‘White Lives Matter’ Rallies Descend on Tennessee
“Closed Borders, White Nation, Now We Start the Deportation,†Participants Chanted
Less than three months after activist Heather Heyer was murdered by neo-Nazis in Charlottesville, white supremacists have begun to gather in Tennessee for “White Lives Matter†rallies.
“Organizers of the White Lives Matter rallies have said that they aimed at protesting refugee resettlement and immigration to Middle Tennessee,†USA Today reported, “specifically noting the presence of Somali and Sudanese people in the region.†The two rallies will be held in Murfreesboro and Shelbyville, with hundreds expected.

Following the tragic events that cost Heather Heyer her life in August, the President of the United States refused to denounce white supremacism. He subsequently doubled down on his belief that violence occurred “on many sides.â€
