President Donald Trump Is Mad as Hell and He’s Absolutely Going to Tweet About It
Trump kicked off Wednesday morning with an old story, accusing now-former FBI Director Jim Comey of drafting a letter “exonerating Crooked Hillary Clinton long before [the] investigation was complete.”
This is old news. CNN in September reported that a source “said by April 2016 the FBI had reviewed most of the evidence and didn’t find evidence suggesting that Clinton had violated federal law. The person said the FBI wanted to interview her but didn’t believe it was going to change the outcome.”
But then Trump lied, claiming the FBI never interviewed Clinton. That clearly is a lie. The FBI interviewed Clinton on Saturday, July 1, for over three hours.
Trump in his tweet attacked his own Justice Dept., although it’s unclear what he was looking for. He has in the past threatened to put Clinton in jail.
And there is zero proof that Jim Comey lied or leaked.
Trump also went after the Democrats, claiming they only want to increase taxes:
He slammed the NFL’s decision that it will not force players to stand for the national anthem:
And he claimed he did not tell the widow of a fallen soldier who he called Tuesday that her husband “knew what he was getting in to,” lashing out at the Democratic Congresswoman who was sitting by Myeshia Johnson and overheard Trump’s comments.Â
Clearly, Trump is getting nervous.
