On Top of Everything Else, Donald Trump’s Job Approval in Gallup Daily Poll Hits Historic Low
Historically Bad Numbers for Trump
President Donald Trump Monday has seen his former campaign chairman and a former campaign associate indicted by the FBI, a former campaign foreign policy advisor has been turned and pled guilty weeks ago to lying to the FBI about Russia, a DC federal court block his ban on transgender service members, and now, on top of all of this, Trump’s approval rating just hit a new historic low.
Gallup’s Daily Tracking report, published daily as a three-day rolling average – so not including today’s news – show Trump’s job approval rating has dropped to just 33 percent.
That is the lowest ever measured by Gallup.
Trump’s job disapproval rating has jumped also. It now sits at 62 percent – a new, historic high.
On this day in his first year, President Barack Obama had a 40 percent disapproval rating and a 55 percent approval rating – double-digits better on both scales.
