Internet Slams NRA Over ‘Fascistic’ Video Claiming Trump Is Victim of ‘Most Ruthless Attack’ on a President in US History

  • ‘It’s All but Threatening Civil War if We Don’t All Fall in Line Behind Trump’

  • ‘I Think Lincoln Probably Had It Worse, Safe to Say’

  • ‘Is Dana Loesch Calling for a Revolution?’

The National Rifle Association is out with yet another vile video attacking the media, Democrats, progressives, liberals, and any one who does not embrace President Donald Trump. Gone are the days the NRA could lie about President Barack Obama, insisting he would take guns away from conservatives – exponentially boosting sales for gun manufacturers.

So now the NRA needs a new target, and they’ve decided to make it anyone who opposes Trump.

Enter far right wing commentator and former Breitbart editor Dana Loesch, now an NRA spokesperson. Like Trump, she has no problem lashing out at her critics, big or small.

She’s recorded a series of angry, self-indulgent videos that make the NRA members for whom she speaks sound like entitled wooses.

Here’s what she says in her latest screed.

“We are witnesses to the most ruthless attack on a president and the people who voted for him, and the free system that allowed it to happen, in American history,” Loesch says, wholly ignoring facts, history, and the consensus of America’s intelligence agencies. “From the highest levels of government, to their media, universities and billionaires, their hateful defiance of his legitimacy is an insult to each of us.”

Note the “their media” slap. It’s straight out of Breitbart 101, which became Bannon 101, which became Trump 101.

“But the ultimate insult is that they think we’re so stupid that we’ll let them get away with it,” she continues, falsely positioning gun owners as victims of the left.

These saboteurs, slashing away with their leaks and sneers, their phony accusations and gagging sanctimony, drive their daggers through the heart of our future, poisoning our belief that honest custody of our institutions will ever again be possible,” Loesch lashes out in anger.

“So they can then build their utopia from the ashes of what they burned down,” she adds, which is ironic, since the Breitbart/Bannon DNA mandates burning down institutions worldwide. Steve cannon has said, according to The Daily Beast, “I’m a Leninist.”

“Lenin,” he answered, “wanted to destroy the state, and that’s my goal too. I want to bring everything crashing down, and destroy all of today’s establishment.”

Back to Loesch.

“No, their fate will be failure and they will perish in the political flames of their own fires. We are the National Rifle Association of America. And we are Freedom’s Safest Place.”

Just what America needs. Someone inciting gun owners.

Who will – and this is the NRA’s goal – go out and buy more guns.

Fortunately, folks on Twitter aren’t letting them get away with this shock propaganda, pointing out what a huge falsehood this video is. Many are using words like “fascism” and “fascistic,” others suggest the NRA is promoting white supremacism.
