Charges from the 31-page indictment against former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort and campaign associate Rick Gates include conspiracy against the United States.
“The indictment contains 12 counts,” the BBC reports. Among them, “conspiracy against the United States, conspiracy to launder money, unregistered agent of a foreign principal, false and misleading FARA statements, false statements, and seven counts of failure to file reports of foreign bank and financial accounts.”

These appear to be unrelated to the Trump campaign, but these are only initial charges and could expand over time.
The charges aren’t directly about Manafort/Gates work for Trump. But this is who the “America First” candidate hired to run his campaign: pic.twitter.com/r2JZ9EE6DX

The charges, however, do include the time period during which both men worked on the Trump campaign:
This suggests there’s evidence that Manafort was conspiring against the United States *during* the time he was Trump’s campaign manager. pic.twitter.com/tI27oXPe4k

Also, there appears to be a charge related to Russia:
The indictment alleges that Manafort and Gates secretly lobbied for a Russian backed party and lied about it. That is Russia related.
