‘Mike Pence’ Flees the NBA, a Starbucks and a Gay Wedding for Baldwin’s Trump on SNL (Video)

“Get Out of There, Mike! Bail!”

Alec Baldwin’s Donald Trump opened last night’s “Saturday Night Live” by tackling Mike Pence’s “long planned” political stunt last week that some have estimated cost American taxpayers millions of dollars.

“We’re getting rid of everything Obama did,” Baldwin began at a rally. “Health care. The Iran deal. And we’re ripping out all of the vegetables in Michelle Obama’s garden and we’re planting McNuggets.”

Last Sunday, the vice president briefly attended an NFL game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Indianapolis Colts, but walked out in what Trump himself admitted was a staged act of supposed outrage.

Naturally, SNL ran with it.

From his rally, “Trump” phoned Beck Bennett’s Mike Pence at an NBA game first, where the president was horrified to learn a player decided to kneel during the national anthem. “Get out of there, Mike! Bail!”

The sketch touched briefly on the president’s attacks on Senator Bob Corker, but returned to “Pence” at Starbucks. After the cups didn’t say “Merry Christmas,” Trump demanded the faux vice president leave immediately.

On Friday, the president once again attempted to reignite the non-existent “War on Christmas” at the anti-LGBT Values Voter Summit, which featured exhibits on gay conversion therapy and guidance on “overcoming transgenderism.”

Appropriately, the sketch next showed Trump demanding Pence leave a gay wedding. (Pence, of course, would never attend a gay wedding—he’s worked to defeat the LGBT community for his entire political career.)
