Leaving His National Day of Prayer Church Services Trump Says ‘We’ll See’ About Attacking North Korea

President Spent 66 Minutes in Church With First Lady

President Donald Trump on Friday declared today a National Day of Prayer for the victims of Hurricane Harvey. Although he rarely attends church, the president did so today, with the First Lady. Upon leaving St. John’s Church in Washington, D.C., a reporter standing outside yelled to the President:

“Mr. President, will you attack North Korea?”

Trump’s response was, “We’ll see.”

Remember, this is after having spent just over an hour in church.

Earlier Sunday morning, Trump responded to reports that North Korea had successfully tested a nuclear bomb, which caused massive seismic activity, by tweeting attacks on North Korea, China, and South Korea. He was roundly criticized and mocked by nuclear and foreign policy experts.

Trump was also criticized early last month after news broke that North Korea can now miniaturize a nuclear bomb to fit on a missile that could reach the United States. The President threatened Kim Jong-un with “fire and fury like the world has never seen” if they threaten the U.S.
