ESPN’s Jemele Hill Called Trump ‘A White Supremacist’ – White House Says That’s a ‘Fireable Offense’
Sarah Huckabee Sanders drew the ire of journalists, civil rights advocates, and the American people Wednesday afternoon after she called for the firing of a journalist who called President Donald Trump a white supremacist. In response, many reporters, journalists, people who work in the media, and Americans in general have taken to Twitter, calling President Trump a white supremacist.
ESPN “SportsCenter” host Jemele Hill on Twitter Monday night called Trump “a white supremacist who has largely surrounded himself w/ other white supremacists.” She added: “Trump is the most ignorant, offensive president of my lifetime. His rise is a direct result of white supremacy. Period.”
Asked to comment, Huckabee Sanders called Hill’s remarks a “fireable offense.”
