Internet Blasts Leading Conservative Website for Posting Video Loop of Jewish Reporter Saying ‘Chutzpah’

‘Wut? The Daily Caller Is Anti Semitic? I’m Shocked I Tell You, Shocked’

The conservative website The Daily Caller is under fire for posting a video of New York Times reporter Glenn Thrush, who is Jewish, saying the Yiddish word “chutzpah,” in a video loop that replays for 24 seconds. The traditional Israeli folk song “Hava Nagila” plays in the background.

“The video is Thrush’s Wednesday night appearance on ‘The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell’ in which he noted President Donald Trump’s ‘chutzpah and the political genius of declaring everything a victory even if it is a loss,'” Raw Story reports.

Fox News host Tucker Carlson is the co-founder of The Daily Caller, which has a history of giving a platform to at least one white supremacist.

Outrage was swift and forceful, and the video was soon removed. No apology has appeared.
