Graham-Cassidy Is on Life Support as John McCain Announces He Will Not Support GOP’s ObamaCare Repeal Bill
‘I Cannot in Good Conscience Vote for the Graham-Cassidy Proposal’
Republican Senator John McCain has just issued a statement announcing he cannot support Graham-Cassidy, the latest TrumpCare bill that purports to “repeal and replace” ObamaCare. McCain become the second Senate Republican to refuse to support the legislation. Senator Rand Paul has been a definite no, and Senators Lisa Murkowski and Susan Collins have signaled they will not support it. If either or both state they will not support it, the bill will effectively be dead.Â
“I cannot in good conscience vote for the Graham-Cassidy proposal. I believe we could do better working together, Republicans and Democrats, and have not yet really tried,” he said.
Thank you @SenJohnMcCain for being a hero again and again and now AGAIN
