Clinton Scorches Trump – In a Tweet

Burn.

Despite the election having been more than 300 days ago, Wednesday night President Trump broke his short streak of mostly issue and hurricane related tweets with yet another attack on Hillary Clinton. The former Democratic presidential nominee is making her way around the country and hitting the talk shows to promote her new book on the election, What Happened.

In two tweets, Trump took a swing at his former Democratic opponent:

Pretty much nothing he said was true. Clinton has taken personal responsibility for losing the election. Her citing various factors is what’s called analysis and reflection. And yes, Jim Comey’s actions clearly changed the direction of the race, as many, including Nate Silver, have said repeatedly:

The rest is obvious.

So Hillary Clinton decided to respond, by scorching Trump:

Clinton posted an image of a children’s picture book, It Takes a Village, which just happens to be, as Amazon notes, “Hillary Rodham Clinton’s first book for young readers, inspired by the themes of her classic New York Times bestselling book It Takes a Village, and illustrated by two-time Caldecott Honor recipient Marla Frazee, [which] asks readers what can they do to make the world a better place?”

Note she didn’t post the adult version.
