Fired for Saying ‘Sieg Heil!’ Jeffrey Lord Now in Talks With Steve Bannon’s Breitbart

Bannon Has Called Breitbart Website ‘The Platform for the Alt-Right’

Americans cheered and applauded when pro-Trump commentator Jeffrey Lord was fired from his position at CNN. But now Lord is in talks to take his Trump sycophancy to Steve Bannon‘s Breitbert website. Bannon has called Breitbart the platform for the so-called “alt-right.” Lord has a reputation for defending absolutely everything that President Trump says and does. Bannon was fired Friday as Trump’s chief strategist.

“Breitbart reached out to Lord regarding writing for the site, for a contributorship or a potentially steadier job,” The Daily Beast reports Monday, also adding that it “can confirm that Lord is eyeing Breitbart, one of the most influential Trump-boosting outlets in the country, as a post-CNN gig.”

Lord has also refused to apologize or delete the tweet that led to his termination.

Moving his byline to Breitbart would be familiar territory for Lord, whoalready “has appeared on Breitbart’s radio program, has been quoted as an expert by Breitbart’s political editor Matthew Boyle, and has known Bannon for years. Bannon actually asked Lord several years ago to write for Breitbart, after the two had appeared together on Fox News’s equally pro-Trump host Sean Hannity’s show, according to a source familiar with the conversation.”

After Lord’s firing, reporter Yashar Ali contacted MSNBC and Fox News, tweeting that neither were interested in hiring the Trump surrogate.

Lord has been a lightening rod since showing up at CNN, in part because Donald Trump requested the network hire him.

The Daily Beast, after his firing, put together this video of some of Lord’s worst moments.
