Eric Bolling Becomes Latest Fox News Host Suspended for Sexual Harassment Allegations

Allegedly Sent ‘Lewd Photos’ to Female Colleagues

“Fox News Specialists” host Eric Bolling today became the latest Fox News personality to face suspension amidst an investigation into sexual harassment of female colleagues.

HuffPost first reported the accusations late Friday, after twelve sources confirmed to the outlet that Bolling had “sent an unsolicited photo of male genitalia via text message to at least two colleagues at Fox Business and one colleague at Fox News.”

“Eric Bolling has been suspended pending the results of an investigation, which is currently under way,” Fox News released in a statement to several outlets. The investigation is being conducted by the law firm Paul Weiss.

“The anonymous, uncorroborated claims are untrue and terribly unfair,” Bolling’s attorney Michael J. Bowe said. “We intend to fully cooperate with the investigation so that it can be concluded and Eric can return to work as quickly as possible.”

Bolling has frequently praised Donald Trump and his presidency, recently tweeting that Trump “is fixing most of Obama’s failures” in a “successful first 6 months.” Trump, for his part, also seems to favor Bolling — even helping the host sell his book:

Last summer, Fox News co-founder and former Chairman and CEO Roger Ailes was forced to resign amidst allegations of unwanted sexual advances—and earlier this year, the network cut ties with Bill O’Reilly after a half-dozen women accused the former Fox host of sexual harassment.
