Watch: Colbert Talks to God, Mocks Trump Evangelical Advisor’s Use of Bible to Justify Nuclear War on North Korea

Many Americans Outraged Over Christian Pastor’s Claim Bible Says Trump Can ‘Take Out’ Kim Jong-un

Wednesday night Stephen Colbert had some fun mocking megachurch pastor Robert Jeffress, who serves as President Donald Trump’s evangelical advisor.

Jeffress says the Bible give Trump the right to “take out” Kim Jong-un and wage nuclear war on North Korea.

“In the case of North Korea, God has given Trump authority to take out Kim Jong Un,” Dr. Jeffress, a Texas megachurch pastor and an advisor on matters of faith to President Trump, said Wednesday. “When it comes to how we should deal with evil doers, the Bible, in the book of Romans, is very clear: God has endowed rulers full power to use whatever means necessary — including war — to stop evil.”

Romans 13 “gives the government to the authority to do whatever, whether it’s assassination, capital punishment or evil punishment to quell the actions of evildoers like Kim Jong Un,” Jeffress, who is a Fox News contributor and hosts his own syndicated TV show broadcast internationally, adds.

Colbert had a chat with God, who conveniently was in the studio last night:
