BREAKING: Grand Jury Has Issued Subpoenas for 2016 Meeting Between Donald Trump Jr and Russians

Special Counsel Robert Mueller has impaneled a grand jury for his investigation into Russia’s interference in the 2016 election, and that grand jury has issued subpoenas related to the meeting between Donald Trump Jr. and several Russians. Late Thursday afternoon The Wall Street Journal first reported the existence of the grand jury, and shortly thereafter Reuters reported the news of the subpoenas.

It is not known who or what have been subpoenaed. Participants, emails and other documentation could be involved.

There were at least eight people in that June 2016 meeting, including Donald Trump Jr., Jared Kushner, Paul Manafort, Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya, Russian-American lobbyist Rinat Akhmetshin, and publicist Rob Goldstone.
