Alec Baldwin’s SNL ‘Summer Edition’ Donald Trump: ‘Media Has Treated Me So Unfairly by Using My Exact Remarks’

‘I’m Going to Crush You’

Alec Baldwin delivered one of his best portrayals of Donald Trump on the cold open of Thursday night’s third and final “Weekend Update: Summer Edition.” Even President Trump would have to admit he struck the right “tone.”

Baldwin’s Trump came out with dark glasses, blinded after looking directly at the sun during Monday’s solar eclipse. He declared himself the true and only “tragic victim” of Charlottesville, complained “the media has treated me so unfairly by using my exact remarks,” then read a small portion of them, of course not including his “both sides” comments.

SNL’s Keenan Thompson, meanwhile, portrayed the actual “Blacks for Trump” man who actually was positioned behind the real Donald Trump at Tuesday night’s campaign re-election rally in Phoenix. He alluded to an unverified Craigslist ad that reportedly was seeking “minorities” to hold up Trump signs at the event.

When “Trump” asks him if he’s Black, Thompson replies, “that’s what your ad asked for.”

Baldwin’s Trump did the Mexico wall chant, sneaking in that the American taxpayers will be paying for it when the audience says Mexico will pay for it.

And “Trump” also said a fearful goodbye to “Steve Bannon,” who replies “I’m going to crush you.”
