After Trump Refused to Denounce White Supremacy, Campaign Calls Democrats, Media ‘President’s Enemies’ (Video)

“I’m Donald Trump, and I Approve This Message”

Donald Trump’s campaign for his 2020 re-election has released a new ad attacking Democrats, the media and “career politicians” just one day after the president refused to denounce white supremacism.

“Democrats, obstructing – the media, attacking our president,” the ad begins, displaying imagery featuring Democratic Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, Elizabeth Warren, Maxine Waters, various hosts and commentators at MSNBC, CNN and others. “Career politicians, standing in the way of success. But President Trump’s plan is working.”

The propaganda-fueled video then proceeds to tout job creation, the stock market and a strong military as Donald Trump’s successes, noting that “the president’s enemies don’t want him to succeed.”

As The Hill pointed out, the Trump administration “lacks a major legislative achievement nearly seven months into his presidency, however, despite Republican control of both chambers of Congress.”

“But Americans are saying, ‘Let President Trump do his job,’” the ad concludes—before switching to an image of Trump himself. “I’m Donald Trump,” the president says in the video, “and I approve this message.”

The ad was released Sunday, just one day after a seemingly beleaguered and uncomfortable Donald Trump refused to denounce white supremacism, white nationalism, neo-Nazism, Neo-Confederism, or the so-called “alt-right” in the aftermath of a white supremacist rally that left one dead.
