WATCH: Trump Meets With Putin, Says He Looks Forward to ‘Positive Things for Russia, for the U.S.’
‘I Think It’s Going Well’
President Donald Trump right now is sitting down with Russian President Vladimir Putin for a discussion expected to last about 30 minutes. The Trump administration has made quite clear Trump has no agenda is is not expected to even bring up Russia’s hacking into the Democratic National Committee’s server and other efforts to interfere in the U.S. Election that won Trump the White House.Â
As the meeting began, the two leaders exchanged pleasantries, including shaking hands.
President Trump told reporters, “President Putin and I have been discussing various things and I think it’s going well.”

“We’ve had some very very good talks. We’re going to have a talk now, and obviously that will continue. But we look forward to a lot of positive things happening, for Russia, for the United States, and for everybody concerned.”
Trump concluded by saying, “It’s an honor to be with you, as he turned to Putin and shook the Russian president’s hand.”
Trump reportedly ignored all questions from reporters about Putin’s election “meddling.”
Our TV pooler @AlliemalCNN shouted a question about election meddling to President Trump and Putin. But there was no answer.

By Trump refusing to address Putin’s attack on the U.S., he exposes just how very weak he is, and how very weak he makes America.
Some responses via Twitter:
Trump:
“We look forward to very good things happening for RUSSIA and the United States.”
He literally cited Russia first.#G20Summit

Today is a day of infamy. The US president warmly greets the Russian leader who attacked US democracy & has planned to say nothing about it.
