WATCH: Mika Brzezinski Walks Through Trump’s Disastrous Week, Dubs It #FailureFriday, Twitter Cheers
‘A Lot of Failures on This Failure Friday’
MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski knows even though he says he’s not, President Donald Trump is still watching “Morning Joe,” the show she co-hosts with Joe Scarborough. Friday morning Brzezinski took a walk through Trump’s disastrous week, from the week-long effort to repeal ObamaCare that failed dramatically in the wee hours of Friday morning, to the Commander-in-Chief’s announcement – apparently being currently ignored by the military – that he has banned all transgender soldiers, to his vulgar speech at the Boy Scouts Jamboree requiring an apology – from the head of the Boy Scouts, to the “profanity-laced tirade” from his new Communications Director, and more.
“Now the GOP faces a reckoning, with an embarrassing failure in Congress,” Brzezinski told viewers. “And a failing presidency.”
.@morningmika full on trying to make @realDonaldTrump‘s head explode with that opening. #failurefriday

“If you want to know what failure looks like, just take a look at the past 36 hours of the Trump presidency,” she charged.

Speaking of the ObamaCare repeal failure, she noted Trump “wasn’t able to keep his party unified, and failed to deliver on a key campaign promise for his base.”
“The President has failed in his attempts to bully his attorney general into resigning,” she observed, adding that he “did succeed in unifying all of Washington against his treatment of the attorney general.”
She went on to nearly mock Trump for tweeting his new ban on transgender soldiers with this observation: “The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff saying the Pentagon will not make any changes to its transgender policy until Trump clarifies what he meant.”
And then she noted Anthony Scaramucci, “Trump’s communications director, went on a profanity-laced tirade.”
“A lot of failures on this Failure Friday,” Brzezinski announced.
Tweet was only too happy to join in:

Mika Brzezinski, who was insulted by Trump a few weeks ago, just coined the hashtag #FailureFriday dedicated to Trump’s wonderful week.
