WATCH: HRC Releases Video Showcasing Trump’s Lies to LGBT Community Following Week of Assaults

Donald Trump is no friend to the LGBT Community, and the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) has released a video using his own words against him to illustrate that point.

This week, Donald Trump unexpectedly announced the banning of all transgender persons from serving in the military. And while his top chiefs made clear they knew nothing of his plans, and have said they won’t implement his decision without specific direction, the White House has doubled down on the president’s cowardly, discriminatory policy.

The very same day, Trump’s Department of Justice filed a brief arguing that the Civil Rights Act of 1964 does not protect “homosexuals” from discrimination, an assertion that runs contrary to at least one federal agency’s published position, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. 

On the campaign trail, Donald Trump frequently pandered to the LGBT community, giving the HRC plenty of material for the video released today. You can watch below:
