Trump Resumes Attack on Morning Joe Hosts, ‘Out of Control’ NBC and ‘Garbage’ CNN in Latest Tweets

The New Normal?

Donald Trump, perhaps feeling refreshed as he spends his 33rd day at one of his golf courses since taking office 23 weeks ago, took to Twitter this morning to continue his assault on the free press.

The president first weighed in on former MSNBC host Greta Van Susteren’s departure from the network, writing that she was “let go by her out of control bosses at NBC [and] Comcast because she refused to go along [with] ‘Trump hate!’”

As NCRM reported, Van Susteren’s “For The Record with Greta” lasted less than six months and was plagued by poor ratings, likely due to the host’s opinions camouflaged as facts.

Trump soon turned to the Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity’s request for sensitive voter information, which over 20 states have refused to cooperate with, questioning the states’ motivation:

Minutes later, Trump’s ire focused on “garbage journalism” CNN. “I am extremely pleased to see that CNN has finally been exposed as #FakeNews and garbage journalism,” he wrote. “It’s about time!”

Finally, Trump resumed his frequent attacks on Morning Joe co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski. Trump began this week’s attacks by calling Brzezinski “low I.Q. Crazy Mika” and accusing her of “bleeding badly from a face-list,” a widely-criticized move.

“Crazy Joe Scarborough and dumb as a rock Mika are not bad people,” the President of the United States wrote, “but their low rated show is dominated by their NBC bosses. Too bad!”
