Trump Pivots from GOP Attack to Berate China in Third Twitter Tantrum Today

POTUS “Very Disappointed”

Donald Trump had no public events scheduled for today to distract him, potentially leading to his third Twitter tantrum on Saturday evening.

The president began his morning by attacking Republicans, saying Democrats were in control of the country and advising that Russia was “against Trump” winning the 2016 presidential election.

Following that, he went in on his own party again, clearly still reeling from the Republican Senate’s failure to repeal ObamaCare. The President of the United States then proceeded to threaten to sabotage the health care of lower-income Americans and Congress itself. (Modern day presidential?)

He did have one intermittent tweet attacking Republicans:

But following four hours of silence, he returned to again question the consensus of all 17 U.S. intelligence agencies. “I love reading about all of the ‘geniuses’ who were so instrumental in my election success,” Trump wrote. “Problem is, most don’t exist. #Fake News! MAGA”:

As MSNBC’s Kyle Griffin pointed out:

Then, the president turned to China:

“I am very disappointed in China,” Trump lashed out. “Our foolish past leaders have allowed them to make hundreds of billions of dollar a year in trade, yet…”

“…they do NOTHING for us with North Korea, just talk,” he concluded seven minutes later. “We will no longer allow this to continue. China could easily solve this problem!”

 As The Hill reported:

Trump’s tweets came a day after Pyongyang conducted its latest test of an intercontinental ballistic missile that it says is capable of striking the mainland United States.

The test on Friday came less than a month after North Korea conducted its first successful test of an ICBM, signaling a milestone in its stated goal of striking the U.S. with a nuclear-tipped missile.
