Calls ‘Past Views’ A ‘Distraction’
As NCRM reported earlier today, a renewed focus on Anthony Scaramucci’s old tweets followed his appointment as the White House’s new Communications Director.Â
The focus followed reports that Scaramucci donated $4,600 to Hillary Clinton in 2007 and $5,600 to former President Barack Obama in 2008, and showed him as pro-LGBT, pro-gun control, pro-Hillary Clinton, anti-wall and as a believer in climate change.
Now, Scaramucci has taken to Twitter in the name of “full transparency,†advising he’s deleting some of the tweets. “Past views evolved & shouldn’t be a distraction,†he wrote. “I serve [Donald Trump’s] agenda & that’s all that matters.â€
The newly-minted Communications Director surely knows, however, that the Internet is forever. Below, screenshots of some of the tweets he’s deleted (so far):
