‘Out of Curiosity, What Exactly Are Big Govt, Opprressive Taxation, Anti 2A Left Wing Socialists Celebrating Today?’ –Donald Trump Jr.
Many people, especially politicians, each year post warm and patriotic messages on July 4th, wishing their fellow Americans a Happy Independence Day. It is often a day of nonpartisan unity, a hope that though seemingly hopelessly divided, Americans share a common land, and some common values – like life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.Â
President Donald Trump appeared to do so Tuesday, but his attempt failed. He posted a video of a choir from a far right wing extremist church whose pastor has attacked every religion – even Judaism, Mormonism, and Catholicism – and holds vile views. The choir, in an act approaching fascism, sang a song based on Trump’s campaign slogan, “Make America Great Again.”
And then there’s the President’s eldest son, Donald Jr., who almost daily posts tweets attacking the left, Democrats, progressives, liberals, and anyone not supporting his father’s regime.
For Independence Day, Trump Jr. made no attempt to unite America, made no attempt to recognize that as the son of the man occupying the White House, he too has an obligation to represent this nation.
No, Donald Trump Jr. attacked Americans on the Fourth of July, at least half of the nation.
“Out of curiosity, what exactly are Big Govt, opprressive taxation, anti 2A left wing socialists celebrating today?” Trump Jr. tweeted.
Many on Twitter pushed back, angry the eldest son of a President who routinely attacks Americans is also behaving in such a juvenile fashion on such an important day, out of nothing more than ignorance and hatred.
