Delta Publicly Apologizes to Ann Coulter, Will Refund Her $30

Calls Her Insults “Unacceptable and Unnecessary”

Delta Airlines has apologized via Twitter to conservative author and hate-monger Ann Coulter, who last night berated the airline for giving away her seat.

Critics of Coulter were thrilled with Delta following her initial tantrum, which lasted over two hours, and in particular that they referred to her as “Anna” in their initial response. “Congratulations to Ann Coulter on being so awful that people are actually siding with an airline,” one Twitter user wrote.

“We’re sorry you did not receive the preferred seat you paid for,” the airline tweeted Sunday evening in their first public apology, “and will refund your $30.”

“Additionally,” they continued, “your insults about our other customers and employees are unacceptable and unnecessary.”

Some reactions:

A victimized Coulter spent much of the day retweeting supporters complaints about the airline.
