Conway Defends Trump’s False Claims: ‘He Doesn’t Think He’s Lying’ (Video)

Defends Claims of Wire-Tapping, Voter Fraud

Kellyanne Conway defended Donald Trump’s false claims about wire-tapping and voter fraud this morning, noting that the president doesn’t believe that he’s lying.

The White House counselor discussed a range of issues with host Brian Stelter, berating the media and dismissing the White House’s many scandals as “non-stories.”

“The scandals are about the president’s lies,” Stelter told Conway when pressed on the matter. “About voter fraud, about wire-tapping. His repeated lies about those issues. That’s the scandal.”

“He doesn’t believe he’s lying about those issues and you know it,” Conway defended the president’s claims.

“A lot of husbands don’t think they’re lying when they cheat on their spouse,” Stelter fired back. “It doesn’t mean they’re not lying.”
