Breaking: Judiciary Committee Heads to Ask Trump Jr to Testify – Will Serve Subpoena if He Refuses

Bipartisan Senate Committee Decision

Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley and Ranking Member Dianne Feinstein will request Donald Trump Jr. testify before the committee. The powerful committee chairman says he is sending the President’s eldest son the request in a letter.

Grassley, Republican from Iowa, wants to interview Trump in public, CNN reports, adding they are prepared to subpoena Donald Jr. should he refuse.

Senator Dianne Feinstein, Democrat of California and the Committee’s ranking member, says she wants the President’s son to testify in open session, and as soon as next week.

The move comes after Trump Jr. not only admitted he met with a Russian government attorney in an attempt to obtain damaging information on then-presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, but on Tuesday posted a four-page email showing he arranged the meeting.
