Breaking: Donald Trump Jr, Jared Kushner Scheduled to Testify Before Senate Committees

Three of People in Room With Russian Attorney Will Testify Next Week

Several top Trump campaign persons of interest in the Russian government’s election interference collusion scandal are scheduled to testify before U.S. Senate committees next week. Among them, President Donald Trump’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., and former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort. Save the date, the hearing is Wednesday, July 26. Testimony will be in open session.

Senior Advisor to the President Jared Kushner will be testifying before the Senate Intelligence Committee on Monday, July 24. That hearing will be closed to the public.

The Washington Times reports Special Counsel Robert Mueller “cleared President Trump’s eldest son and former campaign chairman to publicly testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee as concerns mount over their meeting last summer with a Kremlin-linked attorney.”

UPDATE I: 6:20 PM EDT –
MSNBC reports Kushner’s testimony will not be before the full Senate Intelligence Committee, but only a few members, and the meeting will be less formal than a regular open hearing.
