An Entirely Unhinged Donald Trump Drags 11 Year Old Son Into His Latest Twitter Explosion
President Also Confirmed a Covert CIA Intelligence Program
An entirely unhinged President Donald Trump unleashed an insane tweet storm early Tuesday morning, even dragging his 11-year old son into the blizzzard. Trump also continued his attacks on his Attorney General, tweeting Sessions has taken a “weak” position against non-existent Hillary Clinton “crimes.” Trump even tagged Fox News host Sean Hannity in one of the attacks, as if to say, “See, I did it!”
And all this follows a Trump tweet storm Monday night, attacking the Washington Post for “fake news” after the paper almost daily breaks new news damaging to the Trump administration and campaign.
“Jared Kushner did very well yesterday in proving he did not collude with the Russians. Witch Hunt. Next up, 11 year old Barron Trump!” Trump tweeted, crossing a red line by bringing his young son into his political meltdown. It is truly unconscionable, just as it would be for any journalist to do so. A president’s young children historically have been the one area of their lives that is inviolable.

Trump increased his attacks on Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
“Attorney General Jeff Sessions has taken a VERY weak position on Hillary Clinton crimes (where are E-mails & DNC server) & Intel leakers!”
This, too, is unconscionable. Hillary Clinton has already been cleared by the Justice Dept. She is is former political opponent, and by demanding an investigation into her “crimes,” which do not exist, Trump is turning America into a authoritarian state run by a strongman, akin to Russia or Turkey.

He also went after his own FBI, attacking the Acting Director.
“Problem is that the acting head of the FBI & the person in charge of the Hillary investigation, Andrew McCabe, got $700,000 from H for wife!”
As usual, Trump has been listening to conservative news sources, and gotten the facts wrong. (For details on what Trump is alleging, here’s a CBS News report from October.)Â
Problem is that the acting head of the FBI & the person in charge of the Hillary investigation, Andrew McCabe, got $700,000 from H for wife!

Trump’s attacks on The Washington Post are also extraordinary:
So many stories about me in the @washingtonpost are Fake News. They are as bad as ratings challenged @CNN. Lobbyist for Amazon and taxes?
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 25, 2017
Is Fake News Washington Post being used as a lobbyist weapon against Congress to keep Politicians from looking into Amazon no-tax monopoly?
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 25, 2017
But it was this tweet that had many in Washington furious. In it, Trump confirmed a covert CIA intelligence program:Â
The Amazon Washington Post fabricated the facts on my ending massive, dangerous, and wasteful payments to Syrian rebels fighting Assad…..
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 25, 2017
And this tweet, an apparent conspiracy theory, was just off the rails. But clearly it had something to do with Trump’s BFF Sean Hannity:
Ukrainian efforts to sabotage Trump campaign – “quietly working to boost Clinton.” So where is the investigation A.G. @seanhannity
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 25, 2017
Reuters ran a headline saying Trump “questions Ukraine role in U.S. election with no evidence.”
In total, a series of ten tweets from late Monday night into early Tuesday morning reveal an ever-increasingly unhinged president unable to fulfill the duties of his office for the American people.
If there is any question, late Monday afternoon, Trump addressed 40,000 Boy Scouts, used foul language, went madly off-script, politicized his speech, attacked Hillary Clinton and ObamaCare, and had many watching online saying he turned the entire event into something reminiscent of a Hitler youth rally.
I really hate invoking Hitler because it is sensational 99% of the time but god damn does he make this look like a Hitler Youth rally. https://t.co/AmQMoZ8Woq

Some responses to Trump’s tweet storm:
—She was investigated for well over year & not charged w/ any crime
—She had nothing to do w/ the DNC server; separate hack; he’s conflating https://t.co/RcFgyhEpAX— Bradd Jaffy (@BraddJaffy) July 25, 2017
A president openly trying to force out his AG for not protecting him from investigation and demanding arbitrary prosecution of opponents.

You can only say “this is not normal” so many times before this just becomes what American government is from now on https://t.co/0wJmZJXf3E

The President is calling his own Attorney General “VERY weak” for not investigating his former political opponent. Think about that. https://t.co/YwHll7GErV

Given that the AG serves at the pleasure of the president, isn’t the *real* scandal here Trump’s failure to fire him?

Is demanding the investigation of a political opponent not an impeachable offense? https://t.co/QtN57xKCCk
