WATCH: Across the Nation Protestors March for Trump’s Impeachment

Marchers in Dozens of Cities Call for Impeachment of the 45th President

In dozens of cities across the nation Sunday thousands of people marched for the impeachment of President Donald Trump. From Albuquerque to Yuba City, marchers in about forty cities – including one in Merida, Mexico – marched and signed petitions calling for the removal of the nation’s 45th President.

Video (above) of the Los Angeles Impeachment March shows Democratic U.S.Congressman Bead Sherman addressing a sizable crowd, who responded, “lock him up!” Other speakers stood on stage for nearly three hours talking about impeaching the president. Rep. Sherman has drafted a bill to impeach Trump. The L.A. Times reports thousands attended the L.A. march.

“Down, down, down with Trump — up, up, up with the people” the crowd in L.A. chanted.

“We have to act now to protect our country from abuse of power and impulsive, ignorant incompetence,” Sherman said.

Signs from San Diego:

“We must reject hatred, we must reject bigotry, homophobia, sexism,” a New Orleans march leader with a megaphone said. “And we must start with Donald Trump.”

At Manhattan’s Columbus Circle in New York City, protestors chanted, “Drive him out!”
