‘Trump is Weak and Sniveling’ Displayed on Trump’s Golf Course TV’s Until Press Arrived
Staffer Changed to Tennis
Journalists accompanying Donald Trump on his 43rd trip to one of his golf properties since January today discovered that televisions displayed a CNN chryon reading “Noonan: Trump is ‘Weak and Sniveling.’â€
According to their press pool report, “a staffer dutifully changed three of the TV’s to tennis and one to an infomercial on a really nifty skillet†after reporter Matt Laslo took a picture of one of the screens, seen below.
When press pool entered the Trump’s golf course CNN was on 4 screens reading: “NOONAN: Trump is “weak and sniveling” pic.twitter.com/mBERzrGl3o

The CNN chryon referred to a column by the Wall Street Journal’s Peggy Noonan entitled “Trump is Woody Allen Without the Humor.†Noonan, a conservative and a speech writer for Ronald Regan, has criticized Trump in the past.
“The president’s primary problem as a leader is not that he is impetuous, brash or naïve,†Noonan wrote. “It’s not that he is inexperienced, crude, an outsider. It is that he is weak and sniveling. It is that he undermines himself almost daily by ignoring traditional norms and forms of American masculinity.â€
“He’s not strong and self-controlled, not cool and tough, not low-key and determined,†she continued. “He’s whiny, weepy and self-pitying.†Noonan further asserted that Melania Trump is “tougher than he is with her stoicism and grace, her self-discipline and desire to show the world respect by presenting herself with dignity.â€
Noonan also asserted that “half of the president’s tweets show utter weakness,†calling them “shrill little cries, usually just after dawn.â€
The president spent the majority of Saturday on Twitter, attacking his own party, threatening lower-income Americans and berating China, but has done so only once today, perhaps preoccupied with today’s visit his Virginia course.
