‘So Unattractive, It’s Unbelievable’: Hot Mic Catches GOP Senator Responding to Lawmaker’s Threat to Shoot Her
Democratic Senator Tells Susan Collins She Could ‘Beat the Sh*t Out of Him’
Republican Senator Susan Collins was caught on a hot mic talking about the threat made by a fellow Republican to shoot her over her refusal to support ObamaCare repeal efforts. GOP Rep. Blake Farenthold told a local Texas radio host it is “absolutely repugnant“ that ‘some female Senators” from the Northeast don’t have the “courage” to do things like repeal ObamaCare that every Republican “promised to do.”
“Some of the people that are opposed to [repealing Obamacare] — there are some female senators from the northeast,†Farenthold told a Corpus Christi station Friday. “If it was a guy from south Texas I might ask them to step outside and settle this Aaron Burr-style.â€
Burr infamously killed his rival, Alexander Hamilton, in a gun dual.
Speaking with Democratic Sen. Jack Reed of Rhode Island, Collins described Rep. Farenthold as “so unattractive it’s unbelievable.”
“You know why he challenged you to a duel?” Reed asked, laughing, according to WPRI. “‘Cause you could beat the [expletive] out of him first!”
Senator Collins was also laughing, and said, “so unattractive it’s unbelievable. Did you see him in his pajamas next to this bunny, Playboy Bunny?†WPRI explains a “photo of Farenthold in pajamas with a Playboy model was posted online a number of years ago.”
Joe.My.God. reports a reporter for The Hill, Niv Elis “picked up an amusing exchange” between the two Senators.
And mentions this pajama photo. https://t.co/xV7RuS61ft

“That’s Farenthold in the duck pajamas,” Joe.My.God. notes. “Twitter wags have noted that the ‘M’ on the one girl’s hand is a nightclub’s notice to bartenders that she is a minor.”
It can get worse.
