WATCH: Trump Commits ‘100 Percent’ to Testifying Under Oath

Trump Denies He Asked for Loyalty and Denies He Asked Comey to Drop Flynn Investigation

President Donald Trump says he would be “100 percent” willing to testify under oath about his interactions with former FBI Director Jim Comey, who he fired over the Russia investigation last month.

Speaking to reporters from the White House Rose Garden, President Trump was asked and did not hesitate to answer, promising to testify under oath he did not ask for Comey’s loyalty and did not ask Comey to drop the Flynn investigation.

He also was asked if he does have tapes he suggested he did when he threatened Comey weeks ago via Twitter.

Trump may soon have to prove his pledge. Friday afternoon Democratic Senator Jack Reed said Trump likely will be deposed by Special Counsel Robert Mueller under oath.
