WATCH: Kellyanne Conway Just Can’t Bring Herself to Say if Trump Believes Climate Change Is a ‘Hoax’

Lies About Trump’s Environmental ‘Awards’

Barely more than 12 hours after President Donald Trump announced he is pulling the U.S. out of the historic Paris Climate Agreement, Kellyanne Conway just could not bring herself to answer a simple question: “Does the President still believe global warming is a hoax?” The Counselor to the President repeatedly tap danced and dodged, despite Trump repeatedly having made clear he actually does think climate change, or global warming, is a “hoax.”

And of course, there is this infamous example:

But on ABC’s “Good Morning America” Friday morning, Conway told host George Stephanopoulos that President Trump “believes in a clean environment, clean air, clean water.”

“He’s received awards as a businessman in that regard,” Conway also claimed. That is a lie, one that Trump himself has also claimed. The Washington Post gave it “four pinocchios.”

“He made very clear yesterday,” Conway added, “what he doesn’t believe, which is that the U.S. government should stay in an agreement that gives us too much of the financial burden.”

Studies prove climate change will harm economies worldwide, disease will soar, and people will die, negating her financial argument, as all those bring huge costs – and not just financial.
