‘Damn Those Lefties and Their So-Called Science’
On Friday Donald Trump’s top spokesperson, Mike Pence, appeared on the administration’s favorite cable news channel to defend his boss’s decision to pull America out of the vital and historic Paris Climate Agreement. The backlash has been tremendous, and not just from Democrats and even some Republicans in the U.S., but from people literally all across the globe.
“For some reason, this issue of climate change has emerged as a paramount issue for the left – in this country and around the world,” the Vice President told Fox News’s “Fox & Friends.”
Harry Potter author and progressive activist and philanthropist J.K. Rowling Friday decided to mock the Vice President, taking a swing at his extremist anti-gay polices that led him to sign a “religious freedom” law to discriminate against LGBT people.
Linking to the Pence interview, Rowling “translated” Pence’s remarks attacking “the left,” tweeting, “‘Damn those lefties and their so-called science. What are they REALLY up to, that’s the question. Bet you $10 it’s something gay.'”
As usual, Rowling won this round.
