Save the Date: Jim Comey Set to Testify Before Senate Intelligence Committee on June 8
10 AM – Mark Your Calendar
The date has been set. Former FBI Director Jim Comey will testify before an open session of the Senate Intelligence Committee one week from today, on June 8, at 10 AM. Comey, who was fired by President Donald Trump, is expected to tell the Committee how Trump pressured him to end the investigation into the President’s former National Security Advisor, Mike Flynn, and his ties to Russia.
Sources on Wednesday said Comey is “ready and eager” to testify, according to CNN. Those conversations were characterized as “tense.”
Comey will also testify in closed session that afternoon, at 1 PM.
