Good Monday Morning! Hope you had a good weekend, because already this week is starting off with a bang.

  • Early this AM President Trump destroyed any chance his Muslim ban had to be unblocked by the U.S. Supreme Court, by posting a stunning series of tweets calling it a “watered down ban.” He also lied about his administration’s efforts to create an “extreme vetting” program.
  • Trump kicks off his infrastructure week. It’s important to note what it actually does is sell off federal assets, privatize federal programs like the air traffic controllers, and create tax cuts for the rich. In other words, not an infrastructure program.
  • Trump poised to roll back Obama’s historic reforms establishing and strengthening relations with Cuba. (NY Times)
  • Congress returns from its 10-day recess today.
