Meghan McCain: Eric Holder Should Be in Jail, ‘Asinine’ He Would Run for President Saying He’s Close to Obama

‘This Man Would Be in Jail, Which Is Where He Should Be’

Meghan McCain literally became famous thanks to being the daughter of a famous GOP Senator, but on Fox News’ “Outnumbered,” she kicked off a discussion consisting of attacking Eric Holder and Democrats in general by mocking the former Attorney General for saying he is thinking of running for president, and could use his close friendship with former President Barack Obama to help his platform gain attention.

“In any other administration, this man would be in jail, which is where he should be, not running for president,” McCain angrily told her fellow Fox News co-hosts on Wednesday, referring to the Obama administration.

She also referred to the racist decision to hold Holder in contempt of Congress – the first sitting Cabinet official ever to receive such condemnation – over “Fast and Furious,” a right wing trumped up “scandal” that began under the Bush administration.

“It’s actually very serious allegations that were brought up against him,” McCain said. “So the idea that he’s sort of just going to recuse himself from having any culpability in any of that and just run for president is insane.”

Mercedes Schlapp called Holder “unfit” to serve as president.

Other co-hosts also weighed in, mocking Democrats for not having a candidate ready to challenge Trump in 2020.

If you want insight into how Republicans on Fox News talk about Democrats, this is the perfect opportunity. Watch the video to the end.

For those who don’t remember, Meghan McCain first gained notoriety for blogging about her experiences on her father’s 2008 presidential campaign, which she managed to turn into a series of short stints on third-rate shows, until hittting the big time on Fox News last year.

Eric Holder’s list of accomplishments is extensive. Perhaps McCain should hold it up to her own résumé.
