Why Should We Believe Him, One Way or the Other?

President Donald Trump doesn’t care about America, and everything he does is to take focus off of something else.

He just made that abundantly clear.

41 days ago Trump lashed out at the FBI Director he had just fired. Jim Comey had said Trump had pressed him during a private dinner to pledge his personal loyalty to the then-new president.

Trump hit back, threatening Comey, via a tweet, in an attempt to stifle any further comments from the man he had just fired.

Comey, in response, said he “hopes” there are tapes.

The media went wild, rightly wanting to know not only were there recordings of Trump’s meetings with Comey, but if the Oval Office had a secret recording system, was Trump using it, and who else he may have recorded.

Trump repeatedly refused to answer, and his press secretary claimed he had no idea.

Minutes ago, Trump, again via Twitter, claimed he has no tapes – but left open the possibility:

But Americans should ask themselves, why should we believe him, one way or the other? President Trump is a serial liar, and if he were makingn secret recordings, would he really tell us?
