White House Communications Director Resigns After Just Three Months

Resigned May 18

Mike Dubke, the White House Communications Director hired in mid-February, has resigned. His last day has not been set. Although the news became public Tuesday morning, Debke tendered his resignation May 18, according to Axios and the Washington Post.

President Trump has had considerable difficulties hiring and keeping key individuals. His Communications shop is challenged to keep up with all the news surrounding the investigations and revelations of the Trump team’s possible collusion or interactions with Russia, and rumors from the start that the President is not a fan of his Press Secretary, Sean Spicer.
