Watch: After Trump Tweet Spicer Forced to Answer if President OK With FBI Director Who Gives Out Free Passes

‘Is the President Comfortable Having an FBI Director That Gives Out Free Passes Serve During His Administration?’

A smirking White House press secretary was forced to answer for his boss’s insane tweets knocking Jim Comey, the Director of the FBI, along with Hillary Clinton, all 17 intelligence agencies, and Democrats.

“The president tweeted the FBI Director gave Hillary Clinton a ‘free pass for many bad deeds.’ Is the President comfortable having an FBI Director that gives out free passes serve during his administration?” a reporter for the far right One American News Network asked.

Late Tuesday evening Trump posted tweets saying, among other things, “FBI Director Comey was the best thing that ever happened to Hillary Clinton in that he gave her a free pass for many bad deeds!”

Spicer responded that President Trump “has confidence” in the Director Comey.

“But I think, clearly, his point was, after some of the comments that were made yesterday regarding the reason for the outcome of the election, I think he just wanted to make it clear what exactly happened.”

FBI Director Comey himself Wednesday also made clear “what happened,” explaining before the Senate Judiciary Committee that his October letter, announcing the FBI was taking a look at Clinton’s emails again, was necessary because he didn’t want to “conceal” that information.

Comey did not apply that same standard to the Trump investigation, which began in July of 2016.
