Trump and Pastor That’s Linked Homosexuality to Pedophilia and Disease Share Kodak Moment (Again)

‘There are a Disproportionate Amount of Assaults Against Children by Homosexuals,’ Robert Jeffress Said

Prior to signing his latest executive order this week, “friend of the gays” Donald Trump found time to smile and strike a pose with Robert Jeffress, the megachurch pastor well-known for his vehemently disgusting homophobia.

As The Huffington Post pointed out, Trump’s social media director Dan Scavino Jr. took to Twitter to proudly share the president’s most recent  photo op with the man who has linked homosexuality to both pedophilia and disease.

“What [homosexuals] do is filthy. It is so degrading that is beyond description,” Jeffress has previously said. “And it is their filthy behavior that explains why they are so much more prone to disease.”

Trump infamously pandered for the LGBT vote following the massacre at Pulse Nightclub nearly eleven months ago, referring to himself as a friend to the LGBT (and “LBGT”) community – at one point, even holding a rainbow flag upside-down. His record with Jeffress, however, to say nothing of his current vice president and cabinet, consistently showed this wasn’t the case:

“Amazingly, some gay activists don’t try to hide the link between homosexuality and pedophilia,” the pastor has also said. “There are a disproportionate amount of assaults against children by homosexuals… and the reason is clear: homosexuality is perverse, it represents a degradation of a person’s mind.”

The pastor, who also led a prayer session for Donald Trump prior to his inauguration, has further asserted that same-sex marriage “will pave the way to the future world that caters the antichrist to persecute and martyr Christians without any repercussions whatsoever.”

His judgment, however, is clearly questionable:
