  • Trump says former Democrat turned independent Senator who actively campaigned for Republican John McCain's presidential bid, Joe Lieberman, is his top choice right now to become the next FBI Director. It's hard to imagine a worst choice. Every Democrat, every liberal, every progressive must fight this.
  • History repeats itself. Several times yesterday Trump called the Russia investigation a "witch hunt." 
  • Many Americans no doubt will be glad to see President Donald Trump leave the country for his overseas trip today, hoping for a respite from all the madness.

    Trump and team will visit Saudi Arabia, Israel, and Rome, taking the unprecedented step of a new president's first trip outside the country to be a religious expedition and one not to our closest allies.
