Leaked Transcript Shows Trump Revealed Location of Nuclear Subs to Philippines Dictator

‘I Will Love to Have You in the Oval Office, Anytime You Want to Come’ Trump Told the Murderous Dictator

A leaked transcript of a call to Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte shows President Donald Trump revealed sensitive information – the location of two U.S. nuclear submarines near North Korea – while praising the dictator for his extrajudicial killings of about 9000 people in his war on drugs. The transcript from April was later leaked, reportedly with a cover sheet from the Americas division of the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs.

“I just wanted to congratulate you because I am hearing of the unbelievable job on the drug problem,” President Trump said. “Many countries have the problem, we have a problem, but what a great job you are doing and I just wanted to call and tell you that,” The New York Times reports.

The Times notes Duterte’s anti-drug “program has been widely condemned by human rights groups around the world because extrajudicial killings have taken thousands of lives without arrest or trial. In March, the program was criticized in the State Department’s annual human rights report, which referred to ‘apparent governmental disregard for human rights and due process.'”

Keep up the good work,” Trump told Duterte, calling him a “good man” who is “doing an amazing job.”

Duterte told Trump drugs are “the scourge of my nation now, and I have to do something to preserve the Filipino nation.” Trump, in what has become standard operating procedure, responded by attacking President Barack Obama. “We had a previous president who did not understand that,” Trump said, “but I understand that.”

The Intercept calls Duterte, “one of the world’s most murderous heads of state,” and reports “Trump offered an unqualified endorsement of Duterte’s bloody extermination campaign against suspected drug dealers and users, which has included open calls for extrajudicial murders and promises of pardons and immunity for the killers.”

As the conversation moved to North Korea, Trump told Duterte that the U.S. military has “a lot of firepower over there.”

“We have two submarines — the best in the world. We have two nuclear submarines, not that we want to use them at all.”

Trump ended the call by inviting the Filipino dictator who has bragged he personally killed people, is responsible for the deaths of thousands, and who last year called Obama Secretary of State John Kerry the “son of a whore,” to visit him in the White House.

“I will love to have you in the Oval Office, anytime you want to come.”
