WATCH: Baldwin’s Trump Decides Between ‘Bannon’ and ‘Kushner’ in Elimination Night Ceremony
‘If You Do Not See Your Photo, You Must Immediately Leave The Oval Office and Join Kellyanne Conway in the Basement’
Alec Baldwin’s Donald Trump returned to last night’s “Saturday Night Live,†which aired simultaneously countrywide for the first time its its 42 year history, opening the show with a request to Beck Bennet’s Mike Pence to read the “beautiful, long list of accomplishments†of his first 100 days in office.
“Nominated Neil Gorsuch,†Bennett’s Pence read, prompting Baldwin to respond: “God, I love that list.â€
‘Trump’ and ‘Pence’ soon recall the great memories they’ve made in the White House. “This is where I met with the Chinese president,†Baldwin said, Bennett quickly reminding him, “that was at Mar-a-Lago, sir.â€
“This is where I ordered the Syrian strike,†Baldwin continued, Bennett reminding him “that was also at Mar-a-Lago, sir.â€
“Well,†Baldwin insisted, “this is where I showed classified information to the Prime Minister.†(“That was in front of a bunch of waiters at Mar-a-Lago, sir.â€)
Their conversation soon turned to the reported feuding between Steve Bannon and Jared Kushner, ‘Pence’ insisting that ‘Trump’ talk to them. The ‘president’ called the two men in, Kushner portrayed by host Jimmy Fallon, and they soon began a reality television-inspired “elimination night†ceremony.
“Jared,†Baldwin began dramatically, “Steve. Standing before me are my two top advisers. But I only have one photo in my hand… Moment of truth: the photo in my hand represents the man who will be staying tonight.â€
“You will get to keep advising me,†he continued. “You will also get one thousand dollars courtesy of Loreal. If you do not see your photo, you must immediately leave the Oval Office… and join Kellyanne Conway in the basement.â€
